Dr. Lori Plutchik is a Board Certified NYC psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience. She provides specialized psychiatric care using evidence-based treatment practices in a trusting and empathic environment. Areas of expertise include psychopharmacological treatment of depression, anxiety, eating disorders, PTSD, OCD, women’s reproductive issues, and a wide array of other conditions. She is an expert in genetic testing for psychiatric medications, which enables patients to find the right medications faster. Her subspecialty training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry led to extensive experience working in medical and surgical settings and addressing issues in which medical and psychiatric issues interface. Dr. Plutchik is NYC educated, graduating from Barnard College, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and Psychiatry Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
