Dr. Lori Plutchik is a Board Certified NYC psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience. She provides specialized psychiatric care using evidence-based treatment practices in a trusting and empathic environment. Areas of expertise include psychopharmacological treatment of depression, anxiety, eating disorders, PTSD, OCD, women’s reproductive issues, and a wide array of other conditions. She is an expert in genetic testing for psychiatric medications, which enables patients to find the right medications faster. Her subspecialty training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry led to extensive experience working in medical and surgical settings and addressing issues in which medical and psychiatric issues interface.
